Taylor started her career on YouTube, at first creating ASMR videos on her phone. Shortly after hitting 50,000 subscribers approximately 1 1/2 months after posting her first video she was featured in a game video made by PewDiePie. Taylor stopped making videos for her Youtube channel after 2 months and nearly 100,000 subscribers. This was mainly because of technical problems with the new equipment she was using, as well as her overwhelming popularity. After a month long break Taylor began to make videos in the new year, such as the popular ASMR 10 Triggers To Help You Sleep (35 million views as of the month of August, 2022). The YouTuber released ASMR 20 triggers to help you sleep in the month of July in 2017. (38 millions views by August 2022). In August 2017, she appeared interviewed in Shane Dawson's video, and soon afterward, hit a million YouTube subscribers. In February of 2019, Wired UK estimated that she was earning $1,000 per day in advertising revenues on her YouTube channel.

Helfer is a native of the rural area of Donalda, Alberta, Canada in Canada, the children of Dennis and Elaine Helfer. She has German, English and Swedish descendance. She was educated at the William E. Hay Composite High School of Stettler in Alberta. She lived and worked at the farm of her family along with her three sisters, Trena, Tammy and Tara. When she was 17, The agent from her modeling agency noticed her while in line waiting at the theater.
